Moving from BM3 to other DAW.

Hey guys, to preface, I just got a Roli Lightpad that i absolutely love. I currently use BM3 and have a bunch of my sounds and presets moved in, but I am willing to change because of MPE support.

Natively, I produce on Ableton Live 10 on my PC but very recently got into iPad Pro as a means of mobile music making and I really love it. I came to ask if anyone knows of any good DAWs that I should consider switching to that has MPE support and lends itself to being used to the Abletone Live workflow.

Any reasons to stick with BeatMaker3? Thanks yall!

  • Cubasis, GarageBand, and Stagelight all have mpe support. Of these, Stagelight is my personal fav because it has clip and song view ala Ableton. I also still use BM3 because the sampler and finger drumming is leap years ahead of anything else. I use my ROLI blocks with BM3 for non mpe tracks.
