Appreciate the feedback. Yep - the camera is too close to my face, but unfortunately it's due to the current setup I have. I can't get further back from the face-cam as the clamp that holds the cam isn't very adjustable, so I'm stuck for the moment. I'll try to work on framing better so I can include a bit more of my big, 'ol mug.
I'm working on tweaking the presentation of the vids, so expect some improvements as we move forward. Hopefully I can get some more Patreon support to help fund a better camera & lighting set up.
So there's an update available and I addressed some of the items mentioned. For example, added a little rim to the "drum icon" so it's not just a plain cylinder now ;-). Added more guidance for beginners to get them oriented. Fixed the missing numerical information in the Zenterface (that used to be there). Fixed MIDI File export...was making weirdly sliced up notes. That's really a handy tool because you can load these into GB, Logic or ProTools and go nuts with seriously good sounds.
Excellent - I saw the update come in earlier but haven't had a chance to test drive it yet.
Thanks again for your continued work on this app @technemedia - I got some great comments both here and on YT about my last video.
Hmmm... I’ve had this on my list for such a long time. Every time I read about the all the user frustration with the interface I chicken out. Spent literally weeks learning Dhalang MG (another esoteric interface that’s way underrated once it finally clicks for you) and didn’t think I was up for the learning curve quite yet.
Davey’s video almost got me to pull the trigger, but the evidence that the dev is still obviously committed to it as a labor of love... might just be the ticket to finally go spelunking in this strange little Different Drummer multiverse.
It's worthy if you're brave - the cave is deep and many parts are still unexplored by us mere surface dwellers. You might find some Morlocks down there!
That’s what SHE said!
That depth @Daveypoo speaks of is real but I didn't invent that so much as I "discovered" it and yes, it is mostly uncharted musical territory which makes it exciting for explorers and daunting for "home bodies." I honestly have barely scratched the surface myself because there are so many permutations of the waves. When you think about it most everything we see in the world is waves of some sort too so you can make a LOT of things with waves!

@Daveypoo bro, I love your Mood presets so much. I often use the EVOLVER preset as my template bass.
You have any ELECTRIC (apesoft) presets? Would buy your shit
