Rozeta triggering Ableton lIve instrument issue
Hi Folks,
I try to sequence an Ableton live instrument with Rozeta basseline via usb connection and the IDAM midi protocol.
I use AUM host iOS app , create a track with Rozeta basseline input and IDAM output.
When i hit the AUM play button , nothing is trigged inside Ableton.
Weird thing is that i can use the AUM keyboard to play the Live instrument !!!!!! so midi is working but not for the Rozeta suite.
Any idea what i have to fix ?
I contacted Bram Bos, he was kind to answer me back but it didn't help me much so far.
Cheers
K.

Can you send a screenshot or two of your AUM setup?
thank you to take some time to check it out

here the pics of my set up!
Ahh, OK, the pictures are showing that you have things a bit backward. The checkbox next to IDAM Midi means that IDAM is set as an input to Rozeta, not an output. The USB IDAM out at the bottom of the channel is for audio, not midi (which does nothing since Rozeta doesn’t output audio)
I can’t give you an exact setup since I don’t have a Mac and IDAM, but I can show you something similar. What you need to do is set up a midi routing from Rozeta to the IDAM interface. You do that with the routing matrix. In the example below, I’m routing from Rozeta to studiomux. Substitute IDAM for Studiomux and you should be good to go. If you need help on the Mac side, probably someone else here can do a better job.
Did you try not setting a midi source for rozeta? You are trying to play the notes out from rozeta, through your midi interface, into a synth in ableton right? I usually just use midiflow to route stuff, but I dont know that you should be selecting your midi/audio interface as the source for rozeta, you shouldnt need to select midi source if youre just sending notes out, not into rozeta. I could be wrong. Oh and does monitor only need to be set to "in" for audio to be heard, or also for midi notes to be processed?
edit: what he said, hit reload and was already answered lol
Wim, Deadcircuitgod,
Thank you , i appreciate.
Everything works now, it was my midi routing who was not routed properly.
Now i trigg instruments inside Live and it is a joy
Cheers and good week end
