Hi Marzinno and welcome. Pretty much a noob myself but i will make a start. Sounds like you are just jamming and not recording so here goes.
If you have JamUp or Funkbox running close them down.
Open Audiobus
In the output slot choose the Speaker
In the input slot chose JamUp and then Funkbox. These will have the Zzzz's showing that you need to activate them.
Tap both to activate.
That should get you going
By the way I SUCK is being a little harsh on yourself :-)
thinds said it all, our comments crossed - I want to delete my comment, but I can't.
Thanks for the help will try again after work ,and lol I was kidding about the I SUCK PART
Ok I'm impatient so I tried using them together with saved audio from the sampler in jamup, nothing but feedback, but funkbox cones through just fine, must be missing something?
Where do you plug in your audio input?
What interface are you using for your guitar? If you are using one of the ones that plugs into the headphone jack that could be causing the feedback.
You need to give us more details about your setup etc so we can help you.
Yeah Unfortunitely irig,I really need to grab apogee and be done with it already,is there any known workaround or any way to make it sort of decent in the meantime? Thanks for the help people
Also I should mention I had the feedback without being plugged in,I was just trying to lay some beats down to already saved guitar tracks in the sampler of jamup
Your mic was probably active
Thanks,so I should disable the mic in jamup I'm guessing? Not the mic on AB
Ok cut the jamup mic and it stopped the feedback but still can't get a saved track in jamup to play simultaniously with the drum track
If you're recording straight into the recorder in Jamup, there's no reason why the drums should play simultaneously with a recorded track. Stick a recorder of some sort in the output slot of Audiobus. Use that instead. Either record the drums along with the guitar, or, if the recorder is a multitrack recorder, record the drums first, then record guitar on a new track.
I got ya thanks Paulb I've been going about it the wrong way,I'm gonna give it a try
