iaa synths seem to be crashing a lot more...

I don't know what is going on but it seems like when I host iaa synths in AUM they have been crashing unexpectedly a lot more often.. The sound cuts off when I'm outside the app doing something in a sequencer or an effect... Then go back to AUM and the dreaded, reload pops up.
I almost can't even use certain apps anymore...
Other than animoog, patterning , elastic drums , reason compact and tc11 almost everything else is crashing often... Anyone else noticing this ?
Hopefully au updates come to older synths or I'm not sure I'll be able to keep using them inside AUM

    I have had funnies with iPolysix losing connection with Cubasis, having to close both apps and restart to get the connection back....Sometimes there is no sound at all and others there is sound coming from iPolysix but not through Cubasis.
    It may have always been like this...I have just started using iPolysix again after it was added to Gadget, so am unsure if this is a new thing or not.

    I've not noticed more crashing, but then I am using them a lot less as I'll always prefer AU for stability and project management. Which apps are crashing the most? Maybe I'll have a test.

    I just think iOS is not happy multitasking by design. It's a shame we might not see many of the older IAA synths updated to AU at all.

    I've been using Effectrix a lot recently (which looks very likely to be updated soonish) and it is working, but does tend to need restarting sometimes etc.

    I am not experiencing any difference. Which IAA apps are crashing more for you? What OS?

    Are you hosting more apps and plugs than before? Different apps and plugs?

    Is it possible that your resource usage has changed?
