Great app. Yes the interface is odd, but it's not as complicated as you'd think. The ability to store mod files and load them up from Dropbox is a great way to both store and play the files across devices without taking up space on your device. The ability to then tweak and record them via Audiobus creates a new work flow worth exploring for anybody into sample based music composition.
Basically you can pitch samples, determine how long they play, set tempo, and apply effects so you end up with files that save the samples and how to play them all in one mod file which is very small in size.
@VividTracker Yes, if you do a video that breaks down the different controls while explaining how a tracker works, you'll reach a much wider audience than the Amiga Tracker crowd. Your fast paced video without explanation will still mystify many people who aren't familiar with trackers.
Took a chance on this one and glad I did.
Somewhat off-topic, but I dabbled a tiny bit (very tiny bit) with mods & trackers back when & I recall a mod named 'Apocalypse' which I thought was a great piece of music! So good that I ended up covering it on my XP-50... Did a pretty good job matching the sounds that we're used, I thought. I've tried to find this mod again over the years to no avail...
@Brain: Did you take a look at The Mod Archive? I found a few hits when searching for 'apocalypse': http://modarchive.org/index.php?request=search&query=apocalypse&submit=Find&search_type=filename_or_songtitle
One of them sounds really good: http://modarchive.org/index.php?request=view_by_moduleid&query=33819
Can it be the one you are searching for?
I can't tell if I need some sort of iOS mod player or if I'm supposed to be able to hear a sample... ?

If you download the zip file and then decompress it, I use the Documents app and others recommend GoodReader, you can then load the mod file into Dropbox and play it from VividTracker or another mod player.
