@andowrites : no idea - but I got all excited when this thread got bumped, coz I thought it might be... I’m in the queue right behind you.

I saw on Facebook earlier that Moog apps are now on sale. But not showing up for me in the UK store yet, but apparently in the US already.

Does anyone know if I could expect Moog Model 15 to have a Black Friday sale? I'm holding out for it!

They usually do, but can’t guarantee. Have you seen the bundle? If you own 1-2 of the apps the bundle might be worth it for ya.

I have all Moog apps except for the Model 15. The regular price of Model 15 for iPad is 40$ in Canada. I saw an iPad bundle with all Moog’s app at 35$. The iPhone bundle is 20$.

I think that Model 15 is universal (not sure). So if I buy the iPhone bundle (I only have an iPad), I will be able to download Model 15 since it iOS universal?

  • Should be correct Animoog is the only one with 2 versions.

Yeah. I’m still waiting on animoog au. I like finding stuff as i left it.

    Imagine stacking multiple Animoog layers!

Yes good question. I can ‘complete my bundle’ for £21 iPad bundle, £17 iPhone bundle (so far I only have Model D).
Do I need both versions of Animoog to run it on iPad and iPhone?

If I understand correctly, the iPhone version works on iPad but the screen will be smaller (I run Animoog for iPhone on my iPad and it's a fact) but I think that an iPad version only of an app will not show at all on your iPhone. This is why I like universal app.

May not be your cup of tea... but that's what Sascha Dikiciyan / Sonic Mayhem did 8 years ago with this track, only using the Devine Expansion (not including drums, of course)

    Here's hoping for AU someday

Ah! Nice. Do you know if the midi out is unlock on Model 15? You have to buy an IAP with Animoog to send midi out. I don't know if it's the same thing with Model 15.

It’s cool to have both Animoogs on your iPad, then you can get 2 instances of Animoog going.

Clever! Do you know if the midi out of the Model 15 is available to control others synth with the MPE keyboard? On Animoog it's an IAP.

That's how I used to roll with Magellan, Addictive Synth, Werkbench (and I recall having one more, but can't point out which right now)

    Yes, it does work.
You can load it in an AUM AU Midi lane, too.
It may save on resources if you do that, but not sure.
