    🎸 🎶 🎧 😊 👍

I really enjoyed listening this music in our forum!
Nicely done @flo26, thank you! 🙏

  • Thanks a lot ! 🙏

  • "Just a few pedals". What pedals nail that Hendrix sound? I already looked up the Luke Guitar and the Apogee from the Stark thread. And did you turn some off/on for the home stretch.

I realize a lot of this hardware lust is misplaced and I should practice (play) more and read less.

I just licensed MIDI Guitar 2 and wow. Do you have projects using Guitar Synths?

The thruth is no matter what gear you use..it may sound stupid but it's the thruth.
My guitar is equipped with EMG pickups.Far from a strat mic configuration.
My pedals are just boosters ( seymour duncan pickup booster and fulltone fatboost 2).
When you want to play in the style of another musician, you must not think about what gear he uses,BUT how he thinks.
With the same gear, same stettings,i could have played the wall by pink floyd or whatever track you can think of.Sure it will not be prefect but the most essential will be there.
    It's a long process,but a very rewarding one.
I have midi guitar 2 .Very cool app.Not perfect but really cool.
I may do a demo one of these days😉.
    Thanks for listening!

They just updated MIDI Guitar 2 with a new IAP to let you use any
AUv3 Instrument as a target (it hosts the App) and any AUv3 Effect.
Not sure if it does anything with AUv3 MIDI FX yet but I bought the MIDI
Out so I'll just do that in AUM anyway.

I'd like to hear how you approach the Guitar Synth. It was a revelation
to hear my Strat play chords in tune. I played for an hour an never used the
Tuner. But it's another MIDI Controller to be mastered and used wisely.

Sounding like Pat Metheny which is a pretty tired synth sound was so easy.
Dialing in the bends for MPE Synths wasn't too hard... it supports 12 step bends
which sounds like those weird whammy pedals.

Please put a demo on your to do list. I'm sure the MG2 folks will appreciate the
    extra sales.

  • @flo26 You rock, man. Nice job.

  • Thanks a lot for listening dave!
