N-track multiple outputs to audiobus (effect and output options)
Hello
I am attempting to get N-Track 9 Pro to output tracks individually to Audiobus
I am having trouble getting N-Track to publish the outputs to Audiobus(everytime I start N-track it reverts to multiroute audio being switched off), however when I open Audiobus I still see two input options from N-Track’s output ‘Effect’ and ‘Output’
Can anyone please explain to me what the difference is between these two output ports? Does this mean that it is still possible to route one set of tracks out of the ‘effect’ output while having other tracks get output through ‘output’ via Audiobus?
If anyone has any suggestions for how to get the multiple output routing to work with Audiobus or any other pieces of multi-routing software please let me know
Thank you so much!!

Are you referring to The Multiroute Audio setting in Audiobus, or a setting in N-Track Studio? If it’s the one in Audiobus, it’s unrelated to this. The Audiobus setting has to do with audio interfaces that have their own outputs at the same time as the headphone output.
If I read the manual correctly, N-Track can act as an IAA instrument/generator or as an effect. I think that’s all the two inputs you see are referring to. I don’t think there’s any way to use them simultaneously.
I’m just going on what I understand of how IAA/Audiobus audio works. I don’t own N-Track, so it’s possible I’m mistaken.
I don’t have N Track either, but generally the app must specifically have AB support. In the screen shot below you can see how Auria exposes its outs to AB, and that’s a feature Rim built into Auria. My guess is you want to reach out to the NTrack dev and request that functionality.
Hmmmm thank you for this...it was my understanding that N-Track had this already but perhaps I am wrong. Thank you!
Thank you for this, I’m very confused as I believe I implemented this successfully a week ago when I first got the app unless I am fabricating memories😬
I am speaking about the Multiroute Output setting within N-track
Oh, OK, if there’s such a setting in N-Track, I don’t know about it. I don’t have N-Track, so I can’t be of further help. I hope you work it out.
N-track does not have this routing option on iOS yet. Only Input, output, and effect. I think I saw your question posted on the n-Track forum. N-Track also has a users and developers Facebook page that gets good responses to things like this.
Thanks for this recommendation~could you please tell me what the url of the page is? I cannot seem to find any n-track page on fb that seems active between users, just announcements from the company
Also~ do you have any idea how to make n-track ios stop filtering incoming midi notes? I can’t seem to get it to receive notes below c0 or above c8 and all of my other apps have no problem giving me the full range of incoming midi notes
