Rendered wav the same regardless of device?
I produce using stagelight on iPhone and iPad transferring projects between devices depending on what’s most convenient. Was just thinking, when it comes to exporting the final mixdown to a wav, will the output be exactly the same on each device? Or will a higher powered or newer device render a better wav somehow?
Comments
The device makes no difference. The settings for the export are all that matters.
Not better, but probably faster.
With current IOS devices it doesn't matter, but back in time (days of the iPad-2) some apps could scale down their processing if they considered the CPU power not sufficient.
