Rendered wav the same regardless of device?

I produce using stagelight on iPhone and iPad transferring projects between devices depending on what’s most convenient. Was just thinking, when it comes to exporting the final mixdown to a wav, will the output be exactly the same on each device? Or will a higher powered or newer device render a better wav somehow?

Comments

  • The device makes no difference. The settings for the export are all that matters.

  • Not better, but probably faster.

  • With current IOS devices it doesn't matter, but back in time (days of the iPad-2) some apps could scale down their processing if they considered the CPU power not sufficient.
