I do enjoy her music. Makes me feel at simple peace. Didn’t know she was still around.
Very talented in many ways. Up and down from financial ruin (men). And, I must say it, Doris indeed had her day.
I remember Oscar Levant commenting on Jack Paar (I think, or maybe Dick Cavett), "I knew her before she became a virgin".
