Addendum:
The Whip was another recent UK band that have a sort of retro sound... highlights are 'Intensity', 'Shake', 'Muzzle No. 1', 'Keep Or Delete';
Susumo Hirasawa is an interesting Japanese musician who gets into a lot of audiovisual performances - it's in Japanese (duh?), but a song like 'Virtual Rabbit' or 'Haldyn Hotel' can make you not worry about it;
Any Trouble's album 'Wheels In Motion' is a nice bit of work!
Frank zappa, truly groundbreaking music with every album. Oh yeh and prince

Man, I love @PaulB. Is that weird?
Änglagård-Hybris (1992)
In the early 90's this band reignited the interest in progressive rock in Sweden. The rest of the world quickly followed suit.

Oh? It's not Thieves’ Kitchen by chance, is it?
Dem's the fellers. They improved greatly after I left.
Yeah, 'The Water Road' was an excellent album. I have it in my collection.
'One for Sorrow, Two for Joy' was even better, in my opinion. Have a listen to it if you get the opportunity.
