So do you import sound samples or images I'm very lost 🤣
Nice work. Think we have matching google image searches!👍🧐
Thanks. Hope you used headphones to hear the bass 🐟.
You can do either, if you import sound then you convert it to a sonogram
Rad!
Out of interest , what did you use in your track?
Balanced that recorded audio with Bark (Virsyn) and a touch of shimmer via Crystalline
The chittering comes from Esoteric synth and a filter
There’s no importing images or audio using the AU, correct?
From the manual
I wanted to see what I could make with Virtual ANS3 without adding any extra FX apps
so people on the fence could hear it and decide if it's a good app to own.
This is just multiple tracks of Virtual ANS3 using Enso for loops and no extra FX apps added.
It would sound even better with some reverbs and delays but I wanted to showcase it's sound potential.
For the organ sounding voice I used a Streambyter script that plays open voiced chords.
For the percussive sounds I found that drawing conical shapes makes effective drum sounds.
It's really versatile and powerful.
Here's the raw wav file output of the SR71 photo. No edits, no effects - I just loaded it into Virtual ANS, used the default settings, and exported the wav.
Question--the update advertises new brushes, but I can't seem to find them. Any help?
Drag the brushes sideways to scroll them
Doh

nice!
Yeah and don't forget you can import sounds, convert them to images and use it as a very unique multi-sampler. So it's very versatile.
Indeed. I didn't notice either for the first couple of hours.
Made a vertical one in Pixelmator for drum hits. Next on the list is to try making all sorts of textures.
yes! very cool!!! > @ocelot said:
Just found out about this app and going to pick it up. I see some more dark ambient sessions in my immediate future
I purchased virtual ANS 3 today and am trying it, but AUM somehow recognizes this app only as IAA, not AU.
I would like to play VA3 on the AUM keyboard as you do, but hitting the IAA VA3 icon launched on the AUM results in a full-screen VA3 and displaying the AUM keyboard can not.
How did you do it?
ahm...
@swiperrr
just tried it now.
it works ok in AUM for me.
just + audio unit and its there...
