Hey @Fruitbat1919 ! Hope you're getting a bit of break from the headaches.

    Did you catch any of:

    • Sugar-bytes Factory
    • miRack
    • SnuVx went AUv3
    • All the Toneboosters, Eventide and Fabfilter AU FX plugins

I think they were the highlights for me but there have been a lot of new toys and quite likely have missed several other major new excitements.

    Good to see you back!

    Thanks

I was here for Factory, but missed mirack and what’s SnuVx?

Oh ye of shortened memory! You know VunSox?

O my god! Is VunSox still unmentionable lol

    I don't go for superstition, I don't salute lone Magpie's, or pick up pennies....so

SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX SUNVOX

U have jinxed yourself now Andy! :)

  • Well I’ve gone for the following so far:

    Pure Acid
    Enso
    Mononoke
    Lagrange

So many FX apps have come out since I’ve been away - very difficult to choose.

Pure Acid is brilliant. The Toneboosters fx are superb, and Effectrix has become a new favourite of mine since it went AU. Koala and Shockwave are worth a look too.

I was surprised with Pure Acid, as 303 clones usually are not my thing. I think it’s being able to make variations, the fx XY pads and the ease of the interface that do it for me - sounds good too!

The whole Toneboosters is on my list, along with shockwave.

Not heard of Koala - will go look it up :)

Take your time and watch videos to make sure you really want it before buying.
If you have a look at Eventide FX, a very unique and my personal favorite one is the UltraTap delay. Just a few knobs but it can do a lot, up to fine-grained granular-type delays that almost sound like reverb. The Eventide reverbs are great too but I feel like TB Reverb and Rooms! + appropriate IRs (Rooms now renamed to the historical, titanic name Thafknar) can cover much of it at a substantially lower price. I wish Eventide also released Physion but well...

iFX Rack is a nice collection of traditional FX, not really complete but I like the rack concept.

If I understood it correctly, Drambo will also be usable as a an AUv3 modular FX unit.

Also, don't miss the fantastic free FX from Neon Silicon and the Spectrum Synthesizer Bundle as long as they're still free.

Edit: And Blamsoft of course :)

Yes, caught the other thread on free apps - so got the neon and spectrum stuff.

Will probably be getting a new iPad before Drambo gets released :p

Will check out iFX rack, but I think TB and Eventide will skint me until pay day!

Yeah me too - I held off for quite a while until it webt on sale, but the XY pads really help to de-acidise the sound, and come up with something a bit more unique.

And it's incredibly fun to use too. Really good.

Koala's a little sample/beat maker, but again really fun to use. Underpriced too - only £3.99.
