@richardyot Hello gaffer. So, you wanna talk about football? Thought not :)

“Trying to get away from the mistakes of yesterday.”

Found myself stood with hands in pockets on an empty beach looking out at sea. A solemn seagull sits on my right shoulder and tells me how she wants to end it all. I kind of agree with her that she should (even though I know I shouldn’t) and give her a tablet. Just before she swallows it, a red Astra 1.6 LS convertible speeds across the sand, circles us and then comes to a stop. You step out of it singing this song like David Hasselhoff sang Looking for freedom at the Berlin Wall. The seagull perks up, smiles and flies over to your shoulder. You jump back into the car and drive away without seatbelts.

Everything is alright when you’re around. Good song Richard. :)

Well, disappointingly, while you did get the make of my car right (I do have the aura of a Vauxhall driver after all), you didn't get the model right: I drive a Zafira. Uncannily though, it does have a 1.6 engine as you surmise. It's not convertible though, Vauxhall don't make a convertible seven-seater.

It's good to have you back. 🎸🥁

I was a Vauxhall man myself. Now I’m into Volvo. I once took ownership of a brand new Zafira 2 litre diesel on a Tuesday afternoon, forgot to tell the then missus that City were playing Wolves that night at Maine Road, picked a load of drunk City lads up on the way through Wales and England, (they take more than seven) and we lost. Or did we? Can’t remember. Anything. At all. :)

My 1.6 litre model would struggle to break the speed limit with 7+ City fans onboard, especially if going up Welsh hills, but I assume you were fully in compliance with all laws and local by-laws? And that the loss of memory was due to overexcitement and not alcohol inebriation?

Sorry to be so late with my comments. We have been out of the country for a few weeks sunning ourselves down on the Costas.

@gburkes great pop song with lots going on. Love the use of the brass. My only criticism would be that mix sounded a bit cluttered at some points with lots of sounds coming from the center. Maybe try mixing up the panning of some of the instruments a bit more.

@studs1966 very professional sounding dance music.

@trackedout you definitely have your own unique style. I liked this one a lot. Some great guitar work and lots of energy.

@Bluepunk great to hear from you again. It’s been a while since I’ve been in the Wig and Pen but Westbourne hotel mentioned in our song is literally 100 yards up the road from it. Glad you liked our tune hope your tattooist friend liked it too. Looking forward to you bringing us some of your mad tunes in the coming months.
