Hey @mgmg4871, how is this app with automation and editing for both audio and midi?
@AudioJunkie MIDI editing is a breeze, very comprehensive, edit individual cc's and lots more. Built in FX are cool also.
@Audiojunkie what Trueyorky said. Audio editing will improve. The IAA intergration is excellent, and of course Audioshare. The Dev had never heard of Audioshare, but added in record time.
Actually, it's a brilliant AudioShare integration - thanks to Daniel for pointing him in that direction.
The thing that interests me, is that it is nearly as small as MultiTrackDAW, but much more feature rich. The developer has quietly developed the desktop version for years (just like the n-Track Studio developer). Neither app garnered much attention in the desktop realm. I've currently got both Cubasis and Auria on my little 16GB iPad 2. I really like both of them, but am always looking for better ways to do things that require less space. How good is the app at audio track splicing and alignment? In other words, let's say I wanted to comp a track. I don't see much in the line of track-vs-track visual cues.....
You can splice and align audio but I would say Cubasis is better and Auria is even better again. For me, this app is an excellent MIDI editor including automation, cool FX and the audiocopy, audioshare and IAA take it to a new level.
Oh shit, that is cool. You can export a MIDI file into AudioShare then open in Cubasis :-)
If the Dev continues the way he started (listening to users) I think this app will only get better.
Thanks @Trueyorky. I suspected as much. I think I'll stay with Cubasis and Auria for now, but keep an eye on this app. :-)
IAA has some issues, but Dev is on top of it.
