Using MultitrackStudio's new features

I've figured out some of how one uses IAA in multitrack. Am puzzled still about recording the IAA-connected synth into an audio track...midi flows fine and I hear, and can render, all tracks audio as a wav when that synth is connected, but has anyone managed to route the audio from say iSem to an audio track?

Comments

  • I don't see anyway you can. The audio tracks have no synth IAA apps, only effects IAA apps. So you have to record midi, select all, paste the midi into a audio track, and it renders instantly to audio. Also, IAA effects apps are in midi and audio tracks.

Cool, thanks that is a step forward- rendering the midi tracks to audio one by one is workable, rendering all IAA instrument in a piece all at once at mix down was too much for the system

  • Does this work in Cubasis?

  • No this is a IAA host app.

That was the thing, each IAA host that sequences midi for IAA synths (Cubasis, Beatmaker 2, MTS) renders the resulting audio different ways...
