Have an idea for a little project using speech synthesis on a track.
Any ideas on what apps to use and how i record it to wav files?

Have you got nave?? There are some cool speech patches that you can alter the words on in that.
Nave works great. Voice synth also does a great job of making robot like voices. But for pure text to speech have you tried Speak Now! ..exclamation is part of the name, I'm only moderately excited by it
