I took the leap to iPad OS beta 13. Ask me anything, I'll give it a try.

Can you try this : https://forum.audiob.us/discussion/34030/urgent-psa-hold-off-updating-to-ios-12-4-if-you-use-apps-in-output-slot-in-audiobus
What's the land speed record of a swallow pushing a coconut uphill?
What’s the safest but quickest way to defrost a chicken?
Sure, but it's a fairly long thread. Actually, want to send me an AB file with the setup you'd like me to test (expected, observed behaviors?) I do have AB, an external mic ready.
Good question. I have not yet confirmed whether this new version of the OS is the holy grail. Jury is still out on that. But nothing too cocoNuts yet.
According to the USDA Siri, it’s perfectly safe to cook chicken without thawing it in the oven or on the stove. The drawback? It will take a little longer — usually, by about 50 percent.
Better to remove the backbone and spatchcock the chicken. It cooks much much faster when laid out flat.
Thanks! This is SO much better than Google. 👍🏻
How about accessing files from a USB drive?
Isn’t that a new feature?
Can you keep files on the external drive and still use them?
Or do you have to copy them locally?
Will try using files from the drive now...
I just tried playing a *.wav file and an MPEG-4 movie (weighing at ~2gig). Both played perfectly from the USB drive, no problem. Went to AUM to try to load a sample from the USB drive, but recalled that AUM syncs to AudioShare, and I don't see the USB drive in AudioShare, so... no-go there. Are there any apps that support playing files directly from Files without importing into their namespace? If so, I think it would work, but I haven't found a way to test it.
That sounds pretty good!

Thanks for testing.
What app did the mpeg-4 play in?
Not sure if you have access to an op-z? I tried the beta a few updates ago and it broke the usb interface feature of the op-z. Went back to iOS 12 with no small amount of effort. Thanks!
Directly from within the Files app. As far as I can tell, no additional app loaded.
I don't have one, but... I was unable to get a Tascam DR40-X to register in AUM. I was able to get a Behringer interface to register and could hear audio from iOS to headphone monitor, and I could hear clean guitar inputs, but I could not get guitar to roxsyn. Might be user error though. I can get roxsyn to respond to other iOS apps.
Can I add mp3s with usb stick to Music?
Do a barrel roll.
Any new abilities in Shortcuts that would make being a mobile musician easier/cooler/better? Or assistive touch?
Spacecraft supports loading files in direct from Files without copying to local storage.
No. You still need itunes to do this.

Why did Birnham Wood have to come to Dunsenayne?

Thanks, but I don't understand this not completely because Apple will discontinue iTunes with iOS 13 and newest version of MacOS. I hoped that with iPadOS it would be possible to directly imortant sounds and music to the Apple Music app.
