Question about Apple Care

Hi,i want to extend the warranty of my Pro 10,5“ with an Apple care protection plan but i‘m a little confused if i can take ANY that says „for Pro and Air“ or do i need to take care about something i overlooked?

When i try it on the apple homepage it only shows me Apple Care+ as an option for my device so i‘m a little worried that i can not activate the protection plan when i buy it elsewhere.

Any experiences with it?

Thanks

  • Apple Care+ gives you a discounted replacement if you drop or destroy your device - but not if you lose it. Personally I think it's a good idea for a phone - phones lead dangerous lives - less so for an iPad unless you are one of those people who takes your iPad everywhere.

Yes,i know the differences between Care+ and care Protection. The first one i don‘t need, the second is one much cheaper ;)

The question was more or less how i can be sure to buy the correct protection plan for my ipad.Or how to find out if its still possible at all to use a protection plan for the 2017 Pro because the apple store doesn‘t show me such option related to my device (only apple care+)

I'd call Apple, they always help when I do
