No cracks, 64 samples AUM. Mix locked at 40%.

This type of thing, im changing algo alot to show the pops
100% mix lol. Of course that will happen.
Why should it happen? I mean i dont get this when changing presets on other reverbs like eventide.
Because it's been like that from the start. I don't think he can change it so the pops don't occur at all, but you never really hear them anyway if the mix is set low or you have it on a send. This is just what happens from changing algorithms on the fly, other verb apps are often just one algo and that is why they don't have that issue.
I can hear it on a low mix, I can hear the pop when the infinite is switched on so it will be in my mix. I never noticed it on my other reverbs. I will need to check them all now though 😉
I'm guessing since it's a time based effect and changing the algorithm is comparable to using a different app that this isn't a bug. Don't really need more reverbs but this will probably end up in my purchase history! Need to get Quanta first
No it shouldn't, it simply means he hasn't got a big enough buffer somewhere in his design for the switch, it is a buffer glitch.
Audio Damage are normally the complete opposite of this and that is why a lot of people automate their delays for sound design pitching and reversing effects, they do not pop or click.
This is a bug.
before you buy Quanta please note that it doesn't pitch correctly to sample rate changes/scaling.
.
I was talking specifically of EOS that has always done this...
The euro module does it too. Stop trying to school me.
Leaving this to the experts, weather is nice here 🤣
it's just UI tweak or also engine was improved ?
It's £3.99 at the moment. For that price you can buy two of them ;-) . Put one of em on one aux bus, then the other on a second aux channel with different algos in each. Then you can morph between 'em as much as you like without clicks.
I can confirm that the old version does this too. It's especially noticeable with small, low-diffusion setting like shown above, but it does happen it does happen everywhere.
I don't know how the app is coded, but if these are discrete algorithms and not just groups of settings, seamless switching would be non-trivial. The two algorithms in play probably would need to run simultaneously during some transition period, doubling the processing overhead.
If you're looking for a reverb that can be modulated to change the size in realtime, Reverb by Amazing Noises is your best bet. It's one algorithm (a feedback delay network) and doesn't sound as lush as EOS, but it's designed for realtime adjustments (like the Erbe-Verb Eurorack module; not as powerful, but hey, it's 1.4% of the cost!)
School you ?
It is a buffer glitch, just because it does it in the hardware version too does not mean it isn't a bug, it should not do it, but i doubt AD will fix it anytime soon, especially when people claim it is normal.
Nothing to fix.
But hey if you know how to change it so that one can change algorithms without any noises then you should let Chris know. We're so lucky to have people like you.
👍
Looks great, really fantastic, but got phased out with Kleverb...not to mention Pro-R, Blackhole, and the TB one. Hope the TLC treatment gets extended though, cause the other ADs are still in constant use.
Chris has no interest at all, just because it can be fixed does not mean he will, there are plenty of issues with his plugins that I and many others have reported, we all get the same arrogant attitude from him, he is famous for it.
I completely agree with @Turntablist on this one.
Maybe that is why there is 'Damage' in the product name it does 'Damage' to the Audio or in some cases to the users metal health (I still love their stuff and for my use-case they work quite nicely, mostly a few instances used for sound-design).
😂.
Is the new upgrade stable? I’m wary of major overhauls to a plug that’s already working as expected, especially without an option to revert back on an uncracked device.
Does it works fine on ios right now? My plugin constantly crushes in AUM and standalone iteration, i was using 14 version of os for a long time, then i updated to the 17 version, but the app still doesn't work =(
this is too bad because it was one of my main reverbs (
I have no problems using it. Don’t know why it shouldn‘t work fine (iOS 16 iPad and iPhone)
Just checked - no problems here on the latest version of iPadOS.
I wonder if it’s related to that jump in updating OS version?
As I understand, the problem occurred in 14 and „maintains“/persists in 17
Could you try uninstalling and reinstalling Eos 2? That should clean up any corrupted data.
@frthcomingstorm - are you sure Eos2 has been updated to the latest version from the App Store? Upgrading OS versions doesn't automatically update apps. It could be that you have an older version that is compatible with iOS 14 but not with later versions.
It's worth checking that before uninstalling and reinstalling.
