Free samples .....Excellent samples for IOS, or desktop!!
I just happened across an excellent sample pack company while searching for percussion sounds. they have high quality samples,with multiple articulations, low prices, and very IOS user friendly website, with loyalty rewards. And the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Getting IOS apps downloaded and loaded up into IOS can sometimes be a pain, but with these I purchased them, i easily download a zipfile to my phone, and opened them in the Files app. from there I could use them in any app I wanted. And they sound amazing.

They are are great company, one of the best around now for sure. I used their stuff in a commercial track a few years ago and it worked out very well. The paid stuff is great and they do have sales often so sign up for their mailing list.
Another great score for free samples, especially the drums is hellosamples.com. The analog and acoustic drums pack also has a bunch of Rhodes chords and things like that which I don’t use but the drums are great and most importantly not over processed! They have a series called RAW which is especially good in that department and I think some samples from those are in the free pack. Their paid samples are worth it as well.

I think the free pack after you unzip in audioshare, go into the Ableton folder to find the samples folder for the .wav files
There is a percussion pack and melodic stuff too but the drums are insane, really. Not typical

Mode Audio for best drums available. The top of the line. They are used even by Reason/Propellerhead.
Wave Alchemy for any genre based sound packs or drum VST options.
Wave Alchemy has a super secret new amazing item coming out as well.
I like complete library of files. Free stuff is not my best option for production.
