The Dexed zip up-thread seems to have all these patches, also.
Yepp, the Dexed_cart file is a bit 'cleaned up' with less duplicates
aah thanks for info, cool
Even with the filtering there is enormous duplication or near duplication.
Does anyone know how to get theses files to show when using KQ in AUM? I can see the folder and access in standalone but disappears when I open in host…any help appreciated
You can pretty easily copy the whole inbox folder to the Audio Unit Extension.
Tapp the 3 lines above the preset name, check the inbox folder, tap copy.
When the clipboard window pops up tap on the paste icon top right and choose AUx.
For ease of use in the future just put all downloaded sysex files in the KQ Dixie iCloud folder and they will be available in AUv3 and stand-alone.
No need to extract the zip archives when they are in the iCloud.
You can also copy from iCloud to IFS (iTunes) or AUx.
Thanks @Samu !
I don’t seem to have a KQ folder either in iCloud Drive or on phone. Can’t follow how this app sees files at all but your 1st paragraph did the trick. Cheers!
The KQ Dixie folder should pop up in the iCloud. If it doesn't just copy one file there using the same method as you used to copy the file into the AUx
I have these and the Tera pro FM module, these with the random function in Tera Pro are some of the most fun I have on iOS. There is a random button inside the module itself and with these so much fun! I like to challenge myself to pick a sound at random no matter what it sounds like and try to make it into something interesting with effects. Don’t have KQ Dixie, haven’t really messed with making my own FM patches at all. I’ve read KQ Dixie is an easy FM to make stuff from scratch, have to try it someday.
