Woodbox minimalism 3.0 ;)
latest version. Wanted to achieve a steeper angle for the rytm and the same angle
for the ipad, ‘cos i’m planning
to use the touchscreen a bit more again (instead of 100 different midi controllers)
Ipad runs AUM with loopers/syntns/effects and what not.
I did incorporate an iconnectaudio4+ which does all the routing (and usb hosting)
Under the hood there is a usb hub for additional controllers in case i need them.
One channel of the rytm is dedicated to the ipad and i use the 8knobs by 6 banks (almost 48 knobs sending CC) to control the softsynths.
Powerd by ONE ac adapter or a powerbank. Fits in a keyboard gigbag.
LOTS of fun and no distractions as with 5 different boxes.

Yes very clean set up.
Very nice
Handsome AF. Love this stuff.
Great stuff man
Nicely done.
Love it!
Awesome setup! I might have to try something like that for my Deluge and iPad Pro.
thanks guys, appreciate !
Where's the cup holder for your beer ?
That's sweet
Got some decking planks left over from last week's project
Think you have given me the inspiration to build something like this for my Ableton push and touch screen laptop
Thanks for posting
that is going to be a great combination / workstation! i wish you all the best for the building process. The nice thing about this boxes is not only the beauty of the wood, but the fact that everything is "pre-cabled" and you can move the thing everywhere you want and start working right away !
Thanks @AlaErt
Once my kids go back to school, gonna build this, will post pics when completed
So impressed!
You like the Riddim?
imho of the three big machines it’s the best. Great analog sound and very intuitive use. The octatrack was a bit too complex for me and i had the feeling i could achive almost all my sampling needs with ipad apps and/or with the Rytm’s sampling capabilities. The Analog 4 was “too expensive” for just 4 voices/tracks. But from
what i’m reading, that’s just because i didn’t dedicate her enough time.
So for now i keep the rytm. Would be great if she had at least 4 midi sequencing tracks, but you cannot have everything
Especially in combination with just ONE other digital device (in my case the ipad + Auv3s) it’s good to have a machine that pushes drums and bass through some fat analog circuitry!
