Agree, Figure and Nodebeat are very chill.
Musyc is also good for relaxing. Reminds me of that one on the Nintendo DS. That was the start of my mobile music making. Then Korg DS-10 which is completely awesome by the way.
I think I found a new stress relief app in Gadget. It is just so damned easy to make so many different smooth tracks. With more videos out every day on how to do different things with it making it easier still.
Although I must add that the new Drumjam certainly creates soothing beats with just as much ease. I can not wait for Gadget to get AB to merge the two together.

Animoog on initial preset and messing with detune knob, nice.

Gotta be ThumbJam for me!
Load up "Chicken Pox", with the JR Zendrix patch and wail away. Great fun with the gyro pitch bending and shaking of the phone for vibrato. On your commute, hook it up to your car stereo, crank it up, make those "guitar" faces and jam away the stress!
You may even get a nod or two, provided you're in the right key!
) (I play it in E).
Brilliant app!!!
Great video Doug. When I think of de-stressing, i usually go for something simple like Figure. Easy to use and simple working environment.
But I also like to "sound design" to de-stress. For example, TC-11, I like to just jump in and mess with settings. Not really aiming for anything specific. Sometimes you make something you can use, sometimes the result is just ridiculous.
I'd also add Impaktor. It's just fun to use period
