AUM and LK - Grid - Battery Depletion

I spent a significant amount of time plugged in and messing with LK Grid and AUM yesterday. Again, plugged in, and battery drained like crazy. Like the past days with Gadget. Granted I am on ipad os 13 beta 6, but geeze. How are others feeling battery consumption is with ipad os and/or with these apps in combo. ?
