Midi trigger app
are there any Au apps that offer a simple pad layout. that i can assign a midi note or cc to, and have it sitting to the side in AUM. that way i can perform on whatever instrument i am playing and tap a pad and have it start and stop a looper, or trigger an effect on or of, etc
?

The "Xequence AU | Pads" from Seven Systems offers configurable pads (and optional CC sliders) - i use it for exact the same use-case: Triggering other stuff.
Pads can't trigger midi CC though? Unless I missed it?
@auxmux You are right, just checked that the pads can only send out Midi Notes.
If the OP needs to be freely configurable what to send, he could script the 16 pads of the Mozaic AU.
oh excellent. i just tried it it works perfectly. also i can do cc with the sliders on the l/h side of the pad. thanks
In case you already own ChordPolyPad: Pads can trigger notes or chords when hitting but they can each simultaneously control two different CC horizontally/vertically with freely adjustable ranges.
Works in slide-over mode as well.
oh wow, thanks i’ll try it out> @rs2000 said:

possibly, but I am not a coder. > @lukesleepwalker said:
Yep, but there are options posted to PatchStorage that fit your request. For instance, perhaps Scenic Sequencer?
