ASIO usb interface for Surface Pro and very portable?
Hello community,
I wanted to use my Surface Pro travelling but the built in audio system sucks with ASIO. I normally use Steinberg UR12 and its great with bitwig.
If i use headphones direct then ASIO is stuttering etc.
Anyone use Audioquest Dragonfly with ASIO etc or anything else small and high quality?
Thank you for helping.

Yes be interesting to see what people use, agree with you about the inbuilt audio on the surface pro not being good I have a ageing pro 3 as my going away travelling machine and would love to know what small portable ASIO audio interfaces there are out there.
Have you tried all performance improvements tricks mentioned on Molten Technologies YT channel? With Asio4all driver it’s possible to disable some of the internal 192 kHz inputs which might cause issues. Also be sure to use/create a maximal performance power scheme, with eventually min/max CPU setting set to 99% to avoid turbo boost and increase stability. Concerning audio interfaces, iRig stuff is compact and works well with Asio4all on my Lenovo t440p but it’s not a Surface and I haven’t got any issues with internal card. You could buy one on Amazon or elsewhere and get a refund if that don’t works for you.
If you just want a USB audio interface with a built in headphone socket, the Behringer UCA222 is small, cheap and of decent quality. It also has an optical output port if required.
