@Gravitas, thanks. As I just said in the thread this thread is about (we are talking about insanity, after all))... I do not agree with playing the “you’re the mod” card, but I prefer folks not use it as one more reason to disagree with or want to disallow my saying unconventional or provocative things. Surely there are enough reasons as is!
@[Deleted User], being allergic to sage I always wear gloves when around it. And remember, the sage who can be named is not sagacious.

One forum I frequent tried implementing Google AdWords as a monetizing strategy. People roundly condemned it. I found it highly entertaining to see what Google came up with to push.
There are multiple ways to monetize something as popular as this forum. Most are annoying. Much respect to Michael for providing this amazing place free of such distractions, but I wouldn't begrudge it if he did!

I suffer from mental health issues at present and have done for maybe a year or so ... Depression and anxiety are my nemesis... I consider my self as nutty as a fruitcake with interludes of sanity that I try to avoid when I can ( the real world is far nuttier than I ) Removing the original thread was probably the right thing to do if members where using it to have a go at each other 😕 But as someone who has had several melt downs , I felt no offence, if anything it brought a smile to my face ..... It’s a shame we live in a world where people take offence at the drop of a hat and then make it their business to put a stop to whatever has caused it without regard for others and their feelings/ views .... it’s pretty hypocritical in my opinion.... If you don’t like something then ignore it ! move on .... Make a note of who or what has got your back up n if the person or persons continue to offend then remove them from your life by ignoring them 🤔 This forum is excellent for meeting n sharing like minded people with like minded ideas and dreams but many forget we are all individuals from many different backgrounds, so a modicum of respect and tolerance should always be applied instead of riding in on a high horse to smite those you disagree with ....
