StreamByter by Audeonic Apps is free right now
https://itunes.apple.com/app/id1398712641
Description:
StreamByter is a plugin for creating custom MIDI effects with or without a GUI. It can be used as an Apple Audio Unit (AU) effect or as a standalone app connected via CoreMIDI virtual ports. StreamByter is ported from our acclaimed MidiFire MIDI processing environment.
An iOS device (minimum iOS 11) and a suitable AU host app such as AUM, apeMatrix, Cubasis or Sequencism is required to use the AU variant. To use with CoreMIDI, a routing app like MidiFire is recommended and an iOS device with at least iOS 8 is required.
Use StreamByter to:
- Extend the MIDI processing functionality of any AU host.
- Remap channels, notes, controllers (anything MIDI)
- Filter MIDI events coarsely or finely
- Clone or Delay any event
- Send any event automatically when plugin is loaded
- Create complex effects using programming concepts like conditionals, loops, variables (including array, timing and random), and math operators.
- Link effect logic bi-directionally with graphical sliders (remote controllable via AU parameters)
StreamByter is configured using a textual rules 'language' that defines how the effect should operate. Please see the support link to go to our website for full details.
StreamByter is built using the MidiBus library - http://midib.us

Thanks so much!!
Thank you for the heads up

Thanks for the tip off !
Thanks for this @audeonic! I see there is a sequence for splitting a midi track at middle C. I have been looking for something like this for a very long time. Both notation apps Notion and Symphony Pro have not been able to implement this function, sadly. Therefore when importing a piano piece with left and right hands the notes all appear on one staff! I will contact Symphony Pro as to StreamByter’s capability.
Question: How do you alter the split point from Middle C? Thank you very much for this gift. I look forward to exploring this!
@McD, is this the answer to that question? Did you suggest it six months ago?
Not sure if this is good news or bad news.
Get it now!
You won't find the Mozaic AUv3 MIDI power any cheaper
?
Exactly what ran through my head as I read this...
My first thought was yes, its good news. Because of this:

That is the collection of already made scripts. 😃😃
This is bad news for Nic the developer as detailed and in this Discchord article.
Yeah, good news for users. I thought it could be bad news for Nic--and confirmed by @InfoCheck. Makes me sad to see that Nic couldn't find a path forward--his support was simply unparalleled and allowed me to create music the way I want to. I bought all of his apps to say thanks, but it's not really enough. And the couple dozen of us who avidly supported Streambyter (and Mozaic) are not enough. I'm in favor of price hikes if it keeps you in the game, developers!
Simple as that.
Nic wrote me a lovely bit of code for my touche to give it preset banks. Thank you Nic. 🌈
Sorry it didn't work out.
I thought it might be bad
and sadly Tim’s report confirms that it’s even worse.
Makes me sad. @audeonic is a super developer and provides amazing support. It is a great loss for non-mainstream iOS music makers. I hope somehow the ecosystem will improve -- app prices need come up -- and it would help enormously if Apple adjusted the app store model to allow for paid upgrades.
The IAP method of adding new features is not a good substitute for an actual upgrade model where a developer can provide significant new features and be compensated for the work. They pay once get updates forever model is a killer -- particularly for apps that are not mass market apps.
Not picking on anyone, because I know that everyone's circumstances are unique and I would never presume to know what financial hardships lurk behind a user name--but even in threads over last day or so we've seen complaints about pricing decisions. The Gospel Musician IFX app came out with a very reasonable price tag for music software--but definitely higher than most iOS prices--and the comments were definitely in there. Don't know how to solve the issue other than supporting the devs with $$$ if we are able.
Damn. Nic is a great developer and a super great guy. I hate to see such talent and hard work go so unrewarded.
Sad to see things go that way for Nic.
Midibridge was one of the essentials when all of this started some years ago
Bought mfxStrip as farewell present ( even though i could easily script its functionality in StreamByter)
Sorry to hear the backstory on this. Really unfortunate, and I hope the best for Nic.
