So do you run often into frustration situations when going through it because you don’t have the specific fx and additional purchases are needed?

All I wish is there was an indicator next to the FX in the popup to show if it's been purchased or not. It's mildly of annoying to have to add it, see that it's not purchased, then replace it with something else. Listing the price next to it if it needs to be purchased would be all it would take.

This is what I HATE with Bias FX. Go online check all the cool pedal boards created just to discover that I am not owning all of the needed FX.
I am curious about this plugin and the cabinet FX especially. Will wait for a video - still wondering about selling audio software without video, audio, presentation in 2019 :)

    Will this go universal?

We have plans for ALL of our apps to be universal, but we are releasing all iPad versions first.

This is great news! Really looking forward to all your wonderful apps being universal! 👍💕🌈

Yep, I have bassalicious 2 and puresynth so can’t wait!

Are you sure you need all of the iap’s? If you have another AUV3 fx app like virsyn’s AudioFX you can use that on top.

That exact point, Supadom. Most here have many FX apps. Standard GM FX app very good value. But add-ons not needed by many, yet cost high for IOS. Can get big value from 4Pockets range, if spending same.

Thanks for finding this Jumper. Even if it doesn't say much about the tone of the amp/cab sims and clean/crunch sounds nor the authenticity of the spring reverb. I'm guessing it will be a similar if not exactly the same jobbie as within neosoul studio. I seem to remember that the spring reverb there isn't at the same level as tonestack's unfortunately.

That riff gave me a headache!

@supadom yes not a lot of videos of iFX Rack in Action if any at the moment.

Hoping @GospelMusicians send Sir Doug a code so he can work his magic with a proper video in a day or 2.

    Just bought it.

    So far so good.

    Reverber are my favorites.

Imho the complete app is priced too high for someone, like many of us, who has hundreds of similar fx app.

Would you be so kind as to list the exotic places reverbs?

As soon as I return home I'll take a screenshot with the list.

@GospelMusicians What’s the difference between the ‘Vintage Spring Reverb’ and the ‘Spring Reverb’ IAP?

May I also request a Tremolo? That’s one type of effect for which there are relatively too few options on iOS compared to other fx.

Also, awesome to have the rotar. Bought this just to get that IAP... then got the fantasy verb of course!

You find these ones for free on the web.a little bit disappointed.

I see myself being satisfied with the base app but the question is, does it sound good on an electric guitar?

    Where's @flo26 ?

  • I’ve just tried the spring reverb that’s included in Neo-Soul studio and it is springy only in name. I can hear no coils or tiny little explosions in it. Maybe the IAP sounds better, who knows?

Google is your friend.i can’t remember where, but i’ve found them on the web.

  • I haven’t bought any IAPs yet but I did some jamming using the stock presets with my guitar and just purely messing around. I used fabfilter q3 because I have buzzy cables and pro l2 for some limiting but other than that I kept it to just the effects for ifx

  • You can get the same IRs HERE

How'd you find the phaser? I can't find it and there are other posts here in the thread saying that others can't find it either...

Ditto. I got this entirely to have a new phaser. I'm guessing it's there in some of the presets maybe but I haven't clicked around to find out.

(Though I am curious at the amp sim/combo so as not to have to resort to the poor Stark when AU jammin)

I haven’t actually found it in the list yet but it comes up with a few presets. Hopefully they get a fix for that soon because it’s a really good sounding phaser

Ah, ok, I’ll try that out. Thanks!

  • So I fell and got the 'base' version :)

@GospelMusicians Just a tip here is to 'tag' the IAP effects in the menu where the effects for the slots are selected.
(And also tag or remove or filter out the presets that depend on IAPs that the user has not yet purchased).

I may end up getting some of the IAPs at some point but without any 'previews' it's like why should I?

Allow 'preview' of the effects but disable saving of presets including the IAPs and maybe timeout after 5-10 minutes per session. That should give the user enough time to evaluate them.

So far it's running ok on my old iPad Air 2...

Awesome, I was hoping you would release this. I'm off to the store.

Yeah, this has been a top request. The hardest part was trying to match the VKFX factory presets to fit our architecture. We were able to match it pretty closely...withing +/- 5%.

If the size of the app is smaller than the others I am in! LOL ;)

  • Weird bug on my 12.9 2017 iPad Pro. Could not select "Factory Presets" unless CATS FAVS was also selected. Then you can only see the banks, obviously because none of the presets are CATS FAVS I assume. Drove me nuts for a bit.

Opened Pure Synth to make sure I remembered how things worked in the library panel and it worked fine at first; but after hitting the FAVS buttons back and forth a few times it went into the same state, SMH. Restarted Pure Synth and it was fine. Restarted IFX Rack (which I had not done in the excitement of playing with a new app) and everything worked fine.

I have every GM app and buy them all just out of general principal to support the devs, but damm I wish there was at least some minimal get started doc or vid available as the new apps appear. I always end up mad and frustrated while learning each app.

The Autopan is a tremelo and an autopan. Amp mode is tremelo and pan is autopan

    That’s a good idea.

Also none of the presets require IAP.

  • For me,the most beautiful modulations on ios!!
    And reverbs are délicious!!
Thanks a lot @GospelMusicians for your amazing work!

Love the “Solina” mode in the chorus FX for guitar.

  • @flo26 how’s the “amp sim” and “amp combo“ IAP with guitar?
