Do any of the included synths, effects have any presets? If so approximately how many on each?

Only a couple of presets. It’s not really that kinda thing.

Not that it really matters... but what kind of thing is it? is it your kind of thing?

    It’s

    • a “Don’t over analyze it” kind of thing.
    • a “Wow, this is fun! What the heck would I ever use it for??” kinda thing
    • a thing that you’d spend way too much time goofing with in the music store, but only buy if it was as cheap as this is.
    • a thing you first play with and go, “Uh, OK, I’ll never use that,” but then find yourself coming back to day after day ‘cause it’s fun.
    • a thing you figure people way different than you can probably make great use of.
    • an excellent way to annoy the cat.

And yeh, it’s my kinda thing ... now.

Brilliant. I imagine Mister Yorke annoying his cat with this and am happy.

As a challenge, I just spent the past hour happily making big, smooth, washy, ol’ atmospheric pads by loading a merde ton of FX after it. It really is true that just about anything can be used to do anything. :D

Apologies to the cat and/or your significant other.

  • @wim thanks, I didn’t think so but wanted to know.

  • This reminds me of when Ratshack Reverb came out. A recreation of a cheap toy, but so much fun and more exciting for some reason than the more 'serious' stuff.

  • Version 2.0 is out:

The previous Audio Units are deprecated. This is because they fail validation in Logic Pro and MainStage. I plan to keep them for compatibility, but please attention.
This app may work on Apple Silicon Mac although I don't have the new machine yet.

Added another circuit. In Type 1 (old), the oscillator output is combined with the delay output, a filter is applied, and then the output is input to the delay. Type 2 (new) applies a filter to the oscillator output, combines it with the delay output, and then inputs it to the delay.
In Type 2, the delay can still be used with the PEAK increased.

Changed "P.WIDTH" to "SHAPE". You can modify the shape of any kind of oscillator.
    Changed "HIGH"/"LOW" of OSC2 to "FAST"/"SLOW".

    Fixed some bugs.

    New version 2.0 demo video:

    Description:

Synthesizer for iPhone/iPad. The new version is coming soon.
    https://apps.apple.com/app/kq-unotone...

    New features:

    • Oscillator shape
    • Circuit Type 2
The circuit type 2 enables you to use both filter resonance and delay.

The video is recorded with the developing version.

  • Ooooo lovely. Fantastic little synth this. Love to add some deep bass to a mix with it.
Good to see it still being developed but hope they haven't broken anything because it's a very stable app.

  • How did I miss these !!!
    Thanks, downloading.....

    same here !

    Many thanks !!!

  • It’s a fabulous thing, and if you run it through a couple of reverbs, sounds glorious. Got it doing some Earth shaking low filter sweeps in a Dark Ambient bit I’m working on at the mo, running through Other Desert Cities and Alteza. Results in Creations soon…

This is so cool...I used to have a Monotron Duo and I've missed it...

  • In the ‘deluxe’ synth in here, what do ‘spk’ and ‘k sync’ mean? Cheers!

"P.+SPK." means that OSC2 is outputting to both the Pitch of OSC1 and the Speaker.
"K.Sync." stands for "Key synchronization". OSC2 resets when a key is pressed.
