Anyway to route individual channels from Groove Rider to effects plug ins?
I recently got Groove Rider. I love it for live techno jams but I also have a bunch of effects plug ins that I’d like to use with it. Is there a way to route audio from one channel to a delay plug in for example? I’ve been reading manuals and can’t figure it out. I also have AUM so I thought I could route through there but I can’t figure it out. If routing audio isn’t possible can I send midi out from GR to Ruismaker drum machine and route those individual channel to individual effects? Thanks

No, sorry, that’s not possible. It doesn’t output audio on multiple channels.
You can output midi on separate channels (same channel as the pad number) though, so yes, you can drive multiple Ruismakers. You’ll either need to output notes from those channels that match Ruismaker’s notes, or you’ll need to have something like mfxConvert to change the default pad notes to those needed by Ruismaker.
Ok thanks
In case it’s of use to you, here’s an AUM session set up with mfxConvert to change the output notes of GR-16 pads 9-16 to Ruismaker’s notes. I pointed it to three Ruismaker instances and use channel filtering to set which instances to play. Bass and Toms, dry. Snare and Clap, with reverb, and Hats with delay.
Just an example: https://www.dropbox.com/s/mqj4pqcucp8jpvu/GR-16 to Ruismakers.aumproj?dl=0
Also, when I send midi out from GR-16, I like to load a silent wav file on the channels in GR-16. This saves processing power and also makes it so faders don’t have to be adjusted. If you like, the file is here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/lhkwe1bqqlsdnxd/Void.wav?dl=0
(mfxConvert isn’t needed if you send the notes that Ruismaker needs from GR-16, but I like to trigger the pads rather than going into the keys)
Awesome. Thank you very much
