Audiobus 2 will it be capable of more than 16-bit?
Is there any info on this yet?

If Audiobus goes to 24 bit, I should probably upgrade my Akai EIE, huh? I thought I remember hearing about problems with the Pro model and iPads, was that strictly a 16 vs 24 bit thing?
Pro model doesn't work with ipad at all.
Good to know, thanks!
Even if it did, that wouldn't automatically make sounds generated by from the apps connected to Audiobus any higher quality. The apps would have to be generating the sound in 32bit to start off with to get any benefit.

What are you talking about? If I have samples that are 24 bit, i could then use them in audiobus. I wont get my hopes up for this but if it did, hopefully more devs would look into making their apps 24 bit. Especially intua beatmaker
I'm thinking that no response from Sebastian or Michael means it is probably not going to support 24 bit? I agree that if all of the Audiobus compatible apps that you are using in the chain support 24 bit then Audiobus shouldn't be the bottleneck. This concept should also apply to the buffer size (i.e. 128).
We're not entirely sure if this is going to be in the 2.0 release of Audiobus.
