13.1 Audiobus App Start/Stop, Ableton Link Sync Start/Stop broken?

Not certain if this is a problem with AB or Link, but something has broken for me with these features. Posting to see if it’s just me today...

Comments

  • @Michael had been made aware of this

  • Abl start stop still working on AUM.

  • I’ll check it out, @Zetagy, thanks

  • It’s working fine for me between Loopy and Audiobus (with all the other sync systems disabled, to make sure its Link doing the work). Can you me more about your setup?

I’ve got Xequence driving StepPolyArpUnit as AU instances inside Audiobus. On a side note, SPAU hasn’t been showing correctly in the AB Remote sidebar since the last AB update, and now with this iOS update, the AB start button seems to have been broken when viewing the remote sidebar in X2

Looks a bit like this: (a few updates ago when things were working)

Doesnt work for me either. Using Midi To Link with Loopy in external sync mode. The clock is passed thru, but not the Start/Stop, no matter which variables are changed. AFAIK, Midi To Link is meant to pass on Start/Stop.

And what happens if you use AB to do the MIDI receive? Going through a third-party MIDI sync will probably add some weirdness.

  • Maybe I complicate things ,but must add that AB with Loopy via Link only has a strange behavior
If I press play in AB3 and regret it ,I press stop , but nevertheless Loopy starts
Maybe different issue ! (iOS 12.3)

Ah yeah that’s a different thing. I’ll add it to my todo list to sort out in Loopy.
