Looking for a good midi editor (iPad and iPhone)
I would like to make midi clips on the iPhone and iPad to use in e.g. FL Studio mobile (which has an editor that is not suited for clip creation, just some types of editing) or on desktop.
Beatmaker2 is ok, but has a footprint of about 700MB.
What I am looking for should make it easy to add and remove notes, adjust note length and select several notes to move/copy/paste. Plus it should support midi export directly to other apps and use virtual midi to control synth apps (which caustic cannot).

It looks nice but seems to lack multiple selection and copy/paste, but has anyone maybe used it or can recommend something else?

Genome? Nanostudio fits your bill and remains the smoothest midi editor on iOS but it lacks midi out.
Genome is very nice (after getting used to it), but it is iPad only.
The decision to not include midi out into Nanostudio is extremely hard to grasp, makes it almost useless for other than a sample sequencer, to much fuss trying to integrate it into any workflow.
