App for creating random melodies
I am looking for an app that helps me create random but usable melodies. Something like hitting a random button and receiving a midi melody I can use in other synth apps to help me put a nice melody over my beats. Is there something like that our there?

Xynthesizr can be fun. I also recommend Egoist for chopping up samples and coming up with completely new melodic material from it (as well as randomised basslines). These apps also allow plenty of control ‘after the fact’ to develop what you come up with in a more considered manner.

So, I really love Ruismaker apps, but I can't seem to see the "random melody" button in Rosetta or Mozaic… can someone explain to me, how this is implemented in them, please? I opened up my StepPolyArp Unit and love the app, but don't find a "create random melody" button or something similar in there either. Only presets, but thats not what Im after
