Which apps are Ok with iOS7? Which are not? (List)
Because of Korg Gadget and some other "iOS7 only" apps, I'm about to take the risk and finally update my iPads. I'm using iPad 3 and 4.
Problem is, I work seriously with these things, I depend on them, and I'm a little afraid about performance issues, bugs, glitches, AudioBus problems, etc. people are talking about since the new system was implemented.
I thought some kind of list would appear here sooner or later, with people giving advice on some specific apps, but...
So I'm making a list of the apps I use frequently. Feel free to add your own and please comment if you have any problems with these apps.
Maybe we can concentrate all issues in this post.
Thanks!!

Can you put the programs on a list?
Its almost unreadable now.

Might be better as is rather than a long scrolling list of 170+ apps.
If it ain't broke then don't fix it. I'd advise you carry on using your current iPads until you decide you really really want to upgrade to iOS 7. Funny thing is almost all those developers who advocated on not upgrading from iOS 6 are now happily using iOS 7 :-)
As for the list above, not user friendly so I lost the will to read through. Maybe, you should list the core apps (20) that you use for your work and do them one to a line re:
Animoog
Gadgets
Audio Share
Etc
You have to hit the return key after each item to create a line break but as SpookyZoo said that would create a long ass list to scroll down.
To narrow your list down, check the app store and look up the version history. A lot of what you have I already own and they do work on ios 7. Others I don't know.
I also indiscriminately use a metric ton of apps, and haven't found any game-breakers. Go for it.
Animoog - Nave - Thor - Cassini - Sunrizer - TF7 Synth - iVoxel - Cubasis - BeatMaker 2 - GarageBand - AmpliTube - AUXFX: Space - AUXX: Dub - Turnado - WOW - Filtatron - Tabletop - ReBirth - Rhythm Studio - GlitchBreaks - Yellofier - Figure - iElectribe - DM1 - Impaktor - DrumJam - Samplr - Vio - NodeBeat HD - AudioShare..............all work fine with iOS7.
Thesys doesn't work with the latest update, but that should be fixed soon. Xoxbox crashes after playing a while with the filters (useless synth anyway). Magellan crashes sometimes.
Thank you all!
I've managed to organize the list, although it's a bit long, sorry.
Took some less used apps out as well.
I've been looking at the AppStore for recent updates, and also on other forums.
SampleTank, for example, had problems with AudioBus but it seems to be fixed now. Same with some other apps. But there are some which were not updated for ages, like SynthTronica and SampleLab...
As I'm going to sell my iPad 3 to get Air, I'll try with this one first and if everything is ok I'll update the iPad 4, which is going to be my backup for the Air now.
Synthronica and samplelab both work on ios 7 and ipad air. Haven't tested fully but no prob so far.
Well I got the Air and I'm installing my apps.
So I can update this post If some problems happen.
Thanks again!

Funny thing is almost all those developers who advocated on not upgrading from iOS 6 are now happily using iOS 7 :-)
With this information, is the iOS7 update still a legitimate concern? What are actual known, relevant examples of 7 being worse off than 6? I am neither pro 6 nor 7, just curious!
Same here as @TGIG. I'm getting much closer than before on updating but not quite there yet.
I finally updated my 4. I haven't had any major problems, all seems pretty smooth. Battery seems to run out faster.
I upgraded my iPad Air to 7.04 and all of my apps work fine....but my IPad crashes and resets itself sporadically. I know this is a common problem which will hopefully be fixed with ios7.1
Sorry for bump, I finally think about leaving 6.1.3 for iOS7. Can someone confirm that JR Hexatone drum machine, Synthtronica and The Strange Agency's Curtis and Donut works well? Also, freeware apps RiscY and Toplapapp?
Thanks
Donut, Hexatone and Synthtronica work no probs
