Does a copy of Reason 10 Lite auto upgrade to Reason 11 Lite?
My copy has not yet upgraded, but was wondering if anyone else knows if it will or does already.
Hope I get a free upgrade like Ableton Live 9 to 10 free upgrade.

I don’t think it works like that, I’ve only ever had Reason 10 Lite but looking at that chart it looks like there’s not even a Reason 11 Lite (yet). Full versions are a paid upgrade so I wouldn’t expect the lite version to automatically upgrade.
Will have to see what Props offer as a bundle with other apps or hardware in time..

The suite version just includes extra REs and stuff. If you were gonna buy those anyway, or haven't already, it's a pretty good value. I just can't get on with desktop production anymore..
Yeah, looking at this rundown, it seems quite unlikely. But I'll wait till after America's Thanksgiving sales season to then probably buy.
The lite version usually doesn’t include an upgrade. Maybe if you bought 10 within the last month there may be something since 11 was just released
What about the free copy with Reason Compact?

I do however use Ableton for master clock (LINK) and for auditioning samples in the sketch process.
I may be turning it more though as I have a new piece of gear coming that will be altering my workflow considerably.
I downloaded the lite 10 version but on my surface pro it looked small and blurry (even at custom dpi)
Will be the first app that will delete if run out of storage....

Forgot to mention that it needs Internet connection active ,else it runs on demo mode with everything working , saving, but no loading projects
Yeah you either have to authenticate to open projects or you can install code meter and assign your license to your computer (authorize it) so that you don’t have to bother with any of that.

Code meter sounds fine (I thought it was hardware dongle) . Although it will be another bloatware (already have Pace) .
Also ReWire doesn’t work , I had to use Rearoute from Reaper and worked ok.
Maybe I’ll use autosampler from mpc software to take some sounds
Can't even run Reason 10 Lite on macOS Mojave
Runs fine on my Mojave system. Does it open?
No. It asks for my password to make some changes and then fails with an “Unknown installation error” message.
According to Google, I’m not the only one to have this problem but none of the suggested solutions worked for me

Thanks for making that PDF. Propellerhead overwrote the old link with a Reason 12 page, which no longer includes the Intro and Lite versions ... and impossible to find in Wayback Machine.
