Crashes, optimization, and iOS updates - what am I missing?
I have been getting VERY recent performance problems on my 2018 iPad Pro.
For one, in my iPad settings, I have turned 'Automatic updates' off, but I see that it is 'preparing' 13.1.2 update anyhow... despite the fact I turned this off ages ago. It asks me to update my os all the time, and there is no 'never' box to check, just 'tomorrow' or something. Any suggestions?
Is 13.1.2 safe these days?
When making music, should I shut off things like wifi? Why is AUM tanking running only 3 AU tracks and 2 AU sequencers? I used to be able to do WAY more before I'd even hit 50% cpu, now I get audio glitching from opening AU GUI windows (Egoist with the window open hits 110%, with gui closed it settles back down to 40%...)
Aum has crashed twice in a row now, even with a full iPad shut down in between. Using an iConnect Audio4, and nothing different than before...
