AB3 midi transport problem
Not sure if the previously posted ableton link play/pause problem related, but transport controls from any midi device I use do not work when I midi learn play/pause in audiobus 3.
Took a break from the iOS music stuff, messing with it again is frustrating lol. Also, experiencing intermittent aweful screen lag, like 4 seconds after I touch on screen buttons in ab3.
I still have hope for all this though, iOS is a good platform, not sure why everything seems to be so buggy, especially trying to use a few apps at once and figuring out issues. Hard to get anything done.
I added iOS into my setup when the 3rd gen IPad Pro came out, and obviously immediately had problems w iOS 12 as we all did. So much better than using a desktop in a lot of ways, but being unreliable is.... annoying.
I’ve also had quite a few good recording sessions with iOS. Hard to give up on it...

Sorry to hear of your frustration @DEADCIRCUITGOD - it can be super annoying when stuff doesn’t work the way you want! As for MIDI transport: Audiobus has built in midi sync support, have you tried just enabling that for your midi source? You can find the sync settings behind the gear icon at the bottom.
