BeatleNacht / And The Fifth Beatle
Maybe it’s just the tape flutes, but this reeled me back a half century to a time when anything seemed possible. In fact it is based on a secret melody that came of its own (well, with the help of a bit of blotter) and I have carried it with me for fifty years never letting it see the light of day till now.. (Sorry, can’t divulge the secret, though, cause it’s a secret)
The fifth Beatle was, of course, George Martin, and maybe this is more my simulation of who I might have been if I had been fortunate enough to have been him. I hope you like this one.
