I personally don‘t care about AU so much. But yea I agree, the interface on the new one looks far better.
Cassini was on the App Store until only a few hours ago. I presume they removed it to encourage folk to get the more recent synths?
Really loving some of the patches on this synth. Had a little jam session over lunch time @ my desk and here's the result. Fed loops into LoopyHD to capture the performance:
For those hesitant, IceGear apps are some of the best ios synths that exist.
Sweet grabbed it at work and will play with it when I get home. Seeing that Cassini disappeared, I’m really glad I decided to put it on my phone a couple days ago lol
When I tap on “Factory” I don’t see any presets. Anyone else?
I literally just downloaded Cassini. Searched for it under Purchases, popped right up.
Now, if you don't already own it...kanye shrug.
I’ve never really got on with Cassini, the knobs are weird.
Great site for this developer:

This new one looks to be their “powerhouse” synth, or at least the one with the most versatility.
They were there all along. Dark mode:
Ok so, I have all of this dev’s other synths. Trying to curb my app appetite but this dev ...
Looks like Argon, and Xenon have gone too?
Coming from the other end of the scale with something like Factory which has amazing modulation and effects, the Lagrange modulation system doesn’t look particularly deep, nor does it have effects beyond delay, but it seems to offer a bunch of interesting features esp, in the OSC and Noise sections which could help define its signature sound.
I’d like to hear some sample patches before making a purchasing decision but can’t seem to find any. Maybe I’ll give it a week or two and see what pops up on YouTube.
I really like this one so far
Yeah it's a big pity it is not AU because Cassini is actually best sounding synth Ice Gear ever made. It's actually one of best sounding synths ever made on iOS, very close to Access Virus TI sound - amazing filters and oscillators ...
Like the sound of Lagrange! And yes, I also thought, the concept is a little bit like SB Factory according to the oscillators, but with less modulation. Less frickeling - more sound.
Like the IAA-GUI more than AUV3, because everything is on the screen. Would like to have this one on AUV3...
I’ll be dropping a new soundbank in the next couple of days for Mersenne. Lots of nice pluck and bell sounds that might be good for ambient stuff 😉👍
Sounds like a good candidate for ambient setups in Poly 2, looking forward to it 👍
Yes! Looking forward to this!
Here is my demo for LaGrange, this is definitely one for the Sound Designers

Excellent thanks!
This is super sweet can’t wait to dive in! 🤪🤩😵🤤
Anyone know how to identify which filter/oscillator is which in the routing section?
I used my ears, seems top is A bottom B and left is A right is B; not sure if that is an always.
For the oscillators it's pretty easy read top(A) to bottom(B) same for filters top(A) bottom(B) and for some algorithms left(A) to right(B). This above logic has not failed me yet.
Yeah that was the impression I was under, thx👍🏼
Cheers Doug.
Nice to see I'm not the only one using an on-screen home button either!
@MonzoPro you have to when you are using a mouse. Don’t like that aspect of using a mouse though
Ah ok, I haven't updated yet so haven't tested a mouse.
I use the on-screen home button to save the hardware one, which has failed on a couple of my phones.
Just got the LaGrange synth. Made a few patches. I like this synth a lot.
Very easy to program (IMO), and with all the different wave forms available, it provides a lot of opportunity to create a wide spectrum of interesting sound textures. For me this is a perfect synth for layering with sounds of other synths to create rich, wide, and complex pad sounds.
How is this synth on battery?
You that have all other IceGear synths, are you getting this one? New sounds to be had or as others have alluded to, or same sounds but in a new and convenient package?
