This gem didn’t get near the love is deserved. The ideas it uses to algorithmicly generate beats based on “seeds” and 4 seed variations is ingenious.
All it really needs is some control over velocity per step and the AU treatment.

I somehow forgot about this app, used to use it a lot. Thanks for the reminder!
I generally like using drum apps and tools like Scalar to rout audio to synths for nice backing rhythmic stabs. Snap is extra fun for this because of its sliders and snap to default settings. Makes for nice variations.
