AUM AU Parameter Not Showing

AUM can expose a selected parameter of the Audio Unit plugin as a single knob or toggle next to the node.

Can anyone confirm this is not working. IPadOS 13.1.3?

It's working for me, but I did have to go in to enable a parameter to show for each synth. I think before it used to default to the first listed parameter showing up. At first nothing was showing next to the nodes. But after selecting a parameter to show, they are there.

  • This is working for me on iPadOS 13.2 as I expect it to with my AU's. The AU's where I provide a list of parameters with the parametersForOverviewWithCount method, show the first parameter in that list. In my EQ, where no particular parameter makes sense to show there and I hand back an empty list for the call, AUM doesn't show a parameter. That's the way I think it should work.

  • After some more testing it seems to be Fabfilter plugins this does not work on. Can anyone confirm?

  • It would seem this function only works on effects not musical effects.

Yeah, it seems that the MIDI routing takes precedence over parameters settings for a music effect. I'm not going to complain about this right now though because it makes getting MIDI into a music effect really easy. I've been struggling trying to get this done in several hosts for a couple of days now. I really like how AUM makes this easy.
