  • And Gestrument Pro from the same Kymatica guy is on sale too.

  • Thanks! Guess I cannot stand wandering past AUM this pumpkin weekend. 🎃

  • Finally get Sector. One of these I don't need it but if... not regrets, 20" with it and feel it worth it instantly for dnb madness. Thanks @j_liljedahl !!!

    I only miss Sector and am not sure that I need it.

    No indication about the sale percentage, which is quite sad

    50% off
    Sector is great, and at this price is a steal.

  • Didn’t have or need Sector. Bought it.

    No regrets.

  • Can anyone vouch for BitWiz as a worth while AudioBus compliant gadget on IOS 13?
    It's universal too? Worth a $1?

    Lots of YouTube demo’s and it’s an amazing audio mangler. Lots of static and retro crunchy noise generating to mess up a signal a little or a lot. Seems to fit into AUM. Gotta try it just to flip the dev a little tip for the great portfolio I already own and use daily.

    I held off BitWiz for ages thinking I needed to be a programmer. You don’t. Swipe right with two fingers generates a new random sound, if it includes x and y parameters, you can morph it with two real time x y sliders, and if you like the results, one click saves the patch. Excellent for 8 bit glitchy wonderful sample fodder. To coin a phrase, I’d buy that for a dollar ( if I hadn’t already). And yes, AUM no problem. I didn’t have Sector - do now! :)

  • The beauty of SECTOR is that it might initially seem like stochastic madness tamed only by how you control it, but in reality it’s also a ridiculously capable sample slicer that spits outs perfectly trimmed loops with its record feature, which can then be transferred to AudioShare with ease.

    So like AUM, it’s greatly complimented by AudioShare.

    I don’t really like using the phrase “must buy” but..... SECTOR is one of those handful of gems that make iPad a unique and viable music making platform.

  • BitWiz is definitely worth $1 and the presets prove the point. Lot's of crazy, noisy stuff... nothing in the presets is subtle, tho'. They all do some serious sonic mayhem. But sometimes you might want to dial in some static, robotic, garbage compactor, head banging.
    Right? It's only a $1 and a good way to show @j_liljedahl some respect if you already own everything else like I do. There are still this FX:apps to collect but none are on sale today.

  • BitWiz is an absolut genious staticnoisegenerating machine, a beautiful must-have IMHO. Hours and hours of joy here with it, and it never gets old.

  • Is there any chance to see Kymatica FX Apps become Auv3 one day?

  • Can you play Bitwiz with midi notes ?

  • Sector is awesome
    Slightly off topic
    @e121 long time ago used to own that stochastic app,, I also loved it, and could never remember the name, thanks for reminding me
    Also if on the fence, check out the new sector threads which have some great video's, got me right back in to sector- worth the money at full price all day long

    You can play it with MIDI CC by assigning a CC# to a variable in the code you’ve loaded. In the code below, x, y, a, b, m, n, u, and v are variables.

    //Atari Punk blip xyabmnuv
    p=(t%(((x+y+a+b)/2)>>((m+n+u+v)/8)))==0,
    s=((x+y+a+b)/16)&((m+n+u+v)/64),
    l=((ps)(k==0)),
    q=((q==0)l)+((q>0)(q-1)),
    k=((q>0)*255)

    Here’s where the MIDI CC are assigned to the variables:

    Here’s a tutorial on controlling BitWiz with MIDI and applying audio effects. Gating apps like Perforator and Envolver are good at adding rhythmic structure to the output.

    According to the developer, yes. No forecast of when though.

  • Here’s my thing on Sector’s MAP SEQ and WRP knobs, if anyone needs it:
