So is it a new app based on the principle of the good old Delayrium, when is it available on AppStore?

  • Is there a difference between this and the other one?

  • There really should be an App Store link on his webpage...

  • A bit strange, since the same developer has already made a very similar AUv3 called Delayrium...

    But is it real??

  • “sperimental mode?” Someone couldn’t pronounce spaghetti as a kid

  • I don't get, what's the difference? I like the OG.

  • @oceansinspace warned us when Delayrium arrived after the Esoteric Synth:

This app creator has been a religious cult leader in Antarctica and uses these apps to hypnotize the soul and then enlighten those who responded and heard the tones emmanating from the caves. Somehow he did create free electricity by plugging into a tree of life. Basically in my thoughts, these apps are uber next level. Amazing and extremely far out and complex. Portals and cern thumping acid flashbacks are abound in any sonic combination. At first I didn't know that these sound apps are shooting for a whole different level, and meditating monks are approving this guys soul. I love this delay too, hard to call it just a delay. Esoteric for sure.

It looks like RealDelayrium is a modification of Delayrium but being sold as a new app.
If you own Delayrium I can imagine your pain. But for the effort involved I don't begrudge
the solo developer from trying to monetize the work. Maybe he'll bundle them and create a
discount for owning both versions. Maybe he'll bundle them with Esoteric Synth.

Amazing. Now I feel like I HAVE to buy this.

  • It's like Eurorack modules, you need to buy every single one.

  • I have esoteric synth and delayrium. I must say that this person makes reallly lovely sounding apps. Trouble is the interfaces need an overhaul. The knob behaviors are so strange and slow. the scroll thing on delayrium is no good, and the preset selector is insane (can't make your own presets!)

  • I got both and!:

the diffrence is that Delayrium is a multitap delay - more oriented on rhythmical stuff
and this RealDelayrium is an ambient delay with resonance- more like a reverb+resonator,
oriented to ambient. also the diffrence is HOW (interface) you place the delay lines:
in RealDelayrium you place them with your finger in a very logical "radar" manner:

Interesting. The app description in the iTunes Store should highlight this distinction and
if someone likes one they might also get the other. Right now they sound too similar with a lot of shared description text.

    Naming like:
    Rhythmic Delayrium
    Ambient Delayrium

    would help too.

Has anyone tried it or made their demo yet?

  • It works ok in apeMatrix but not in AUM (lot of unexpected noise)...

Thanks, so I might have to get it. There's a chaos I enjoy with Delayrium. You can send all sorts of feedback into it. I used it with KQ Monotron clone here.

But yeah names should be more different.

    Ah, so they are. Cheers.

  • Hey, so the religion of this guy's apps has not grown as planned. The cult members are all broke musicians and he is too. Lets support the antarctic here as he is freezing and hungry and out of herbs.... Love you all, and for a few bucks this will steal your soul so its fine.

  • Someone mentioned this was producing a lot of noise in AUM, does anyone know if it currently works fine in AUM?
