Question about Audiokit Digital D1 Pulsing Ambient Pad patch
this is really a question about the pulsing component. The rate of pulse is controlled by the BPM which is set on the FX page. My question is how do I turn the pulse off entirely and just have the straight non-pulsing sound? Additionally I would like to be able to turn on/off the pulse component through a midi-learned cc switch. Thanks!

I think it is mainly coming from the Tremolo.
There is a little LFO on both Detunes, but it is subtle.
The Modwheel on this patch controls the Tremolo amount, so use it to turn it off and on live and you should be good to go.
Could it be that the modulation is within the sample itself? I’m still hearing the ‘pulse’ after dialling down the LFOs and effects.
Like @CracklePot said, it's the Tremolo+Depth on the [MAIN] edit page.
There seems to be some modulation baked into the GhostPad sample. Confirmed by adding It to an INIT patch. You could substitute it with a similar PCM texture.
Yep, that's both the advantage and disadvantage of sampled synth programs: You can have some special modulation unavailable in D1 but you cannot turn it off.
I've taken care to minimize modulation in my programs before sampling them for D1, also because rhythmic modulation simply sounds bad when re-pitched during playback inside of the same key zone and it cannot be tempo-synced but I can only speak for the ones I've provided
fyi, got a quick and helpful response from Audiokit. Pulsing can be faded out using the tremolo intensity control on the Main page. Thanks Matthew!
