Good aac to wav converter app?
Hi,
Just discovered the free Oval hang drum app, which can create great sample fodder, courtesy of another thread here, but it’s clips are aac format, and I work only with wavs. Can anyone recommend a good pay-once use forever aac to wav converter app for iPad only? All the available options are either online or require subscriptions, and I won’t use a pc these days for music making, I’m DAWless IPad all the way. Any suggestions Gratefully received.

AudioShare can do that, look under Tools.
It looks like Auditor can do it as batch conversation as well. Haven’t tried it though.
Well, now. Tools is grayed out with the Oval aac I just tried. Sorry...
Just rename the file in audioshare to a dot wav file..

What is the file extension for the file? AAC is a codec , btw, and not a file format. (AAC can be used to encode files with different file formats). On iOS devices, aac is most commonly associated with the m4a file format.
