iRig HD 2 - Audio Sampling

Hello everyone,
I recently got Quantiloop Pro ios app, and I am planning to sample audio into it from my ipod with the use of iRig HD 2 as the interface to use for the ipod. I am yet to buy it and I want to find out whether anyone has any experience with using iRig to sample audio into ios apps. Also perhaps there is a better way/equipment to use for sampling into Quantiloop Pro from a hardware external source. Thanks.

    The iRig is really intended to take input from a mono instrument input with a 1/4" jack. It is great as a guitar interface, but I'd suggest that you get an audio interface that is intended for line or line/instrument signals and takes stereo input. There are quite a few of them out there.
